Design and Fit-out of Toyota Offices and Common Areas
Toyota approached us with the task of re-designing their 10,000sqm offices including the reception areas, common areas, canteen and waiting areas.
The brief was to inject a modern yet familiar style that matched their brand.
The Toyota Way
In creating the proposed design, we focused on the core values of Toyota, the origins and history of the brand itself as well as the evolution it has undergone. The concept of Kaizen and continuous improvement is symbolised through bold, fresh design elements and the use of new-to-market materials. We have proposed a significant upliftment to the “first-impression” spaces to realign these areas with the core values of the brand and the achievements in its products. The reception desk design is inspired by origami and shape of the infinity symbol, anchoring the design around Japanese origins and never-ending improvement.
